DURHAM, N.C., USA and SHANGHAI, China – May 22, 2026 – Wolfspeed, Inc. (NYSE: WOLF), a global leader in silicon carbide technology, today announced the launch of two new 3.3 kV silicon carbide (SiC) power module series designed to tackle the power bottleneck challenges driven by AI data centers and the global energy transition. The series include a high-power half-bridge module with baseplate in industrystandard packaging and a scalable fullbridge module without baseplate, providing engineers with essential tools to modernize energy infrastructure.
Compared to conventional silicon technology, Wolfspeed’s new modules enable faster, smaller, more efficient, more costeffective, and more resilient power generation, conversion, and distribution solutions. Based on new SiC MOSFETs, the two complementary package variants cover the entire energy lifecycle – from generation and storage to conversion and distribution.
“We understand the urgency our customers face in scaling power infrastructure,” said Guy Moxey, Vice President of Industrial and Energy at Wolfspeed. “These two module series support both established gridscale players and emerging companies with modular architectures to move quickly. Today, we are giving engineers the tools to build the grid of the future – together we can successfully meet surging power demand and unlock the full potential of AI and electrification.”
Both module series will be demonstrated at the PCIM exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany, from June 9–11, 2026, at booth 7435.
