FLIR Systems recently launched the newly upgraded Elir V580 high-performance video borescope. With exceptional image quality, intelligent operation, and a rugged design, it provides a professional solution for inspecting confined spaces in fields such as industrial maintenance, automotive repair, and building inspection.

The device supports 1280×720 HD resolution and features a large touchscreen, enabling precise detection of minute defects. To meet diverse inspection needs, the V580 offers a range of probe options: HD probes in lengths from 1 to 3 meters; an infrared probe for temperature distribution analysis and identifying potential overheating hazards; a 30-meter pipe inspection probe with sonar positioning; and bidirectional/quadirectional articulated probes capable of flexible steering to easily navigate complex structures like engines and gearboxes.

For intelligent operation, the V580 supports real-time comparison of the live feed with historical images for tracking equipment condition changes. Users can add voice and text annotations to inspection findings and utilize the Elir Meterlink app for remote collaboration and file sharing, significantly enhancing team workflow efficiency.
