Vishay Releases New Automotive-Grade Film Capacitors Supporting Stable Operation at 125℃ High Temperatures

Global electronic component manufacturer Vishay has introduced the new MKP1848e series of automotive-grade metallized polypropylene film capacitors. This series operates stably in harsh temperature environments up to +125℃ and can handle ripple currents as high as 44.5A, making it suitable for high-performance applications in automotive electronics, energy, and industrial fields.

Certified to the IEC60384-16 Edition 3 Class III standard, these capacitors demonstrate exceptional reliability under high temperature and humidity conditions, capable of continuous operation for 1,344 hours at rated voltage, 60℃, and 93% relative humidity. With outstanding temperature stability and high ripple current capability, the series provides durable and compact capacitive solutions for critical applications such as electric vehicles, industrial power supplies, and renewable energy systems.
