Vishay has launched a compact, sealed SMD trim resistor suitable for harsh environments.

On November 15, 2024, news came from Malvern, Pennsylvania, USA and Shanghai, China. Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE stock symbol: VSH) recently announced the launch of its latest TS7 series single-turn surface-mount ceramic trim resistors.

The trimmer of the TS7 series has a compact size, measuring only 6.7 mm x 7 mm with a height of 5 mm, and is especially suitable for application scenarios where board space optimization is required in harsh environments.

The TS7 series supports automated assembly and setup processes, which can not only improve production efficiency but also shorten the time and reduce costs. It is completely sealed and can withstand standard board cleaning processes, ensuring the reliability of the device in harsh industrial, consumer, and communication environments.

The TS7 series has a rated power of 0.5 W at +70 °C and has two adjustment methods, top and side, which can flexibly meet various design requirements. Its wide ohm range, from 10 Ω to 2 MΩ, further ensures that it can meet various application needs.

Currently, the TS7 series has achieved mass production, samples are available, and the ordering cycle is 17 weeks.
