MALVERN, Pa., USA, and SHANGHAI, China — September 1, 2026 — Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced the launch of two new low-profile common mode chokes — the commercial-grade ICMS2321-10 and the automotive-grade ICMS2321-1A — designed for high-current DC/DC converters, high-voltage inverters, EMI filters, and motor control in automotive, energy, and industrial applications. Available in both surface-mount and through-hole packages, the devices offer a heat rating current up to 30 A and a dielectric withstand voltage of 1500 VDC between coils, delivering high power density and system safety.
The new chokes feature a self-shielded, rugged construction and an enhanced core design, providing excellent shock and vibration resistance while maintaining stable saturation current and filtering performance at high operating temperatures up to +150 °C. The AEC-Q200 qualified ICMS2321-1A is specifically designed for demanding automotive environments such as on-board chargers, further expanding Vishay's portfolio of automotive-grade magnetic components.
The ICMS2321-10 and ICMS2321-1A cover an inductance range of 70 µH to 480 µH, with common mode impedance up to 3790 Ω at 1 MHz and leakage inductance as low as 1.7 µH. Both devices support customization of inductance, impedance, DCR, and current ratings. Surface-mount versions are available in tape and reel packaging for automated pick-and-place assembly, enhancing board layout flexibility. The chokes are RoHS-compliant, halogen-free, and meet Vishay Green standards, supporting environmentally conscious design.
Both chokes are now in production and available for sampling, providing compact, high-efficiency noise suppression solutions for high-reliability power electronics systems.
