ROHM has developed the 'TLR1901GXZ' CMOS operational amplifier, featuring both ultra-compact size and the industry's lowest quiescent current of 160nA (Typ.). Housed in a WLCSP package smaller than 1mm², this new op-amp significantly extends battery life in portable measuring instruments, wearable devices, and indoor detectors while saving PCB space.
As portable devices demand higher measurement accuracy and energy efficiency, the role of sensors and their signal conditioning circuits becomes increasingly critical. The TLR1901GXZ optimizes process, package, and Nano Energy™ circuit technologies to achieve ultra-low power consumption while maintaining maximum input offset voltage of just 0.55mV - approximately 45% lower than conventional products. Its temperature drift is limited to 7μV/°C, ensuring stable precision even in thermally challenging environments.
This operational amplifier can be paired with ROHM's ultra-compact resistors (0402/0603 sizes) to provide a flexible, complete solution for high-density, low-power analog front-end designs, suitable for various portable and IoT applications with stringent size and efficiency requirements.
